Hello there, and welcome to the page dedicated to the documentation of Rachel Ramsey.
Rachel is 23 years old and in peak camping condition. In fact, she has been a camper since she traveled far across her vast backyard and pitched a tent, declaring this land as Camp Rachel! Then once she made it past kindergarten, she was finally allowed to go to a camp that she did not have to make up. Ever since then, it was a sure bet that those seeking the elusive Rachel Ramsey in the summer time, could find her at a local camp. Once Rachel became too old to be a camper, she joined the ranks as a staffer. Camp Augusta became her summer home in 2006. Though her natural habitat is Greensburg, Pennsylvania. This year will be extra special because records show that this is Rachel’s fifteenth summer at a summer camp. She spent 11 years as a camper in camps in the Midwest and this is her fourth year being a counselor!
Those that study Rachel have documented that a large amount of her time has been devoted to working with younger children. There is record to indicate that she is now certified in Elementary, Early, and Special Education from Seton Hill University. If you want to spot Rachel in her natural habitat, you must travel to Greensburg, Pennsylvania. It is located about 30 minutes Southeast of Pittsburgh. Though not native to the Burgh, she does understand "Pittsburghese." Ask Rachel what a jagger, gum band, dupa, chipped chopped ham, jimmy, and a buggy are. It seems that Rachel is on the move and will soon call California her home. She hopes to find a job as a teacher in San Francisco. It is well documented that she loves the area. Reports show that she spent some of January enjoying Northern California. There were sightings of her visiting Kirkwood, camping in Sonoma, hiking through Muir Woods, and dining in Berkley.
Rachel Ramsey has been spotted student teaching this past fall and winter. She spent half the semester teaching math and language arts to sixth graders. The other half she spent teaching in a special education room for younger children. It might be hard for an outsider to understand, but Rachel loves teaching mathematics. She loves playing with numbers almost as much as playing outdoors. Then, in the Spring, she became a substitute teacher for all sorts of classes. There was even a sighting of her covering for a 7th grade boy’s gym class in a dress and high heels! When you see her, ask her about some of her for some funny stories about substituting. Everything Rachel does seems to turn into an adventure and that is the way she likes it. Her life reads as one epic story after another with plenty of laughs. If you are one of her campers, you are guaranteed to become part of one of these epic tales.
Rachel sends her regards and looks forward to meeting you all. Remember to ask her about Pittsburghese and how do you red something up.
