Kia ora campers!!

My name is Josh, I'm from Christchurch, New Zealand, and I'm 23 years old!

Some of the many things I love include swimming; skiing; reading; drinking milkshakes; thunderstorms; travelling; climbing trees and camping.
In the past few years I’ve been studying biology and psychology at university, but in 2009 I took a year off to come to America and experience the magic of Augusta first hand! And then I ended up doing it again in 2010! And now here we are three years later and I'm back at camp yet again!!
I'm not quite sure what it is about Camp Augusta that has drawn me back again and again. I could name dozens of things that I love about camp: CTF; Oatmeal fights; evening programs; the whir of the High Zip going overhead; campfires; the calm of Lake Vera in the morning... etc.etc. But really what it all boils down to is the fact that I can spend each and every day being silly and having fun with an awesome group of counsellors and campers!
I’m sure you’ll spot me this summer, up a tree on the Pods course; playing capture the flag; crazy canoeing in a lake called Vera; singing songs around the campfire; or maybe playing with the goats in hammock village!
Can’t wait to meet you at camp and hear all your stories. It's going to be an amazing summer!
